THE COMPANY

JEO Productions is a production company focused on producing film and television of the highest quality and creativity. Though the main focus is film, JEO Productions commits to a large collaboration of artists in various medium, and wishes to produce various creative projects that span the creative industries, from film and television, to theatre, music, and dance. By establishing a large database of talented artists and crew, JEO Productions will produce a feature film every two to three years, and during the pre- or post- production, will also take on other dance, theatre, television and music projects.

JEO Productions was established in 2002 by Joseph Tito. Joseph Tito, an actor and writer, has worked previously in film and completed writing his first novel, before he was ready to create a company that would enhance the film industry by provoking the audience to challenge their values and beliefs. Collaborating with Josephine Houpt, a manager, photographer and writer, they began to shoot low- budget short films. These were produced with the help of their already bursting list of eager actors and crew to participate in JEO Production’s vision.

THE VISION

JEO Productions wishes to connect an already merging creative industry, by collaborating with talented stage and film actors, writers, singers, dancers and musicians. For example, the film industry is connected to the fashion, music, and dance industries, to name a few. JEO Productions is willing to produce any creative project, from a feature film to a dance performance as long as the founders believe in the project. Their beliefs are formed from the project being creatively inspiring to the audience, the participants, and the producers, as well as it being a marketable idea, which has a place in our present society.

THE FOUNDERS

The principals of JEO Productions have an abundance of creative energy and talent, as well as knowledge and experience in management. Joseph Tito has embraced many roles as he established JEO, from screenwriter, director, producer, film editor and actor. Josephine Houpt has extensive management expertise which she has brought to the business, as well as being creatively talented. Ms. Houpt has acted in the roles of cinematographer, writer and producer on past projects. This driven team, though youthful, has acquainted themselves with many film industry professionals in order to have a large vat of information readily available.

By having an extensive database of contacts that range from various artists in all fields of the industry, JEO Productions is able to offer quality work at a fraction of the cost in comparison to the studio system, making it easier and cheaper for our clients to produce their project.  By having an "independent" status, JEO Productions can freely reap the benefits of resources available to independent productions; some of these benefits include discounts in film stock, camera packages and film processing rates to name a few.
